LitFin is a litigation finance company with a particular focus on competition law disputes in Europe and beyond. We are currently working with trucking companies seeking to recover damages from truck manufacturers as a result of the truck cartel and also from the Federal Republic of Germany for unlawfully excessive toll payments. In addition, we are cooperating with the German Association for the Protection of Investors (Schutzgemeinschaft der Kapitalanleger) to help investors recover their investments lost in the Wirecard scandal by claiming damages from Wirecard's auditors Ernst & Young.
Our clients and partners are located in more than ten European countries, notably Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Austria. LitFin has been recommended by the leading international market research company for commercial law firms and litigation finance companies "Chambers" as one of the leading litigation financiers in Europe. We enable our clients to enforce those claims that they would otherwise not be able or willing to pursue for financial reasons. LitFin bears all costs associated with the recovery, the court proceedings, including the costs of economic expert reports and court fees, and receives a small share of the success in return. We work without recovery claims - if the enforcement of the claims is not successful, we receive nothing. So the financial risk lies solely with us - LitFin.
